Teodora LF
1998 Pure Andalusian Mare (Cierva x Malibu K)

Teodora was my first Andalusian, which I had waited 20 years for! In late 2000, with the help of Nia Ridley, I found a 2 ½ year old filly for which they would accept monthly payments. As she wasn’t yet registered with IALHA, I named her Teodora, after my late father. I was so happy when she reached her 3rd birthday and I could start riding her – we even celebrated with carrot cake and a party!
As a novice rider taking Dressage lessons once a week, I was eventually able to start competing with Teodora in Training and First Level Dressage, and entering her in the NWAHA shows. She also especially loves riding out on the trails near our home in Maple Valley, Washington.
Teodora was my principle riding horse until we bought our stallion, Bandolero, and she retired to be a broodmare and my husband's trail horse.
Teodora has lovely and very expressive knee-hock movement and a spunky, fun personality. Both of which she appears to have passed on to all of her foals.
Tea has given us 3 beautiful foals and we think it's time she had a break from pregnancy. We have recently discovered that there are not many Andalusian horses available for sale that have been trained in dressage. For that reason we are considering selling her to the right dressage home. Tea has been with me for 8 years now and I am very attached. It will be hard to part with her, but if I know she will be someone's number one riding horse, I think she deserves it. Once her current colt is old enough, I will tune her up and post her for sale at $23,000. If you are interested, please contact us at any time.
